Suggested Return Routes from Port de Pollença to Andratx

Ride the best cycle route in Mallorca by catching the bike bus to Port de Pollença from either Santa Ponça, Peguera or Playa de Palma and bike back on any of these brilliant routes. The shortest (but still taxing) is the vanilla route vanilla route of 115km with 2,400m of climbing right up to the very hard Big Daddy Challenge (8 classified cols) with 162km and 4,300m of climbing.

Port de Pollença to Port d´Andratx – Vanilla

The most direct and the most popular route back to the South on the best cycle route in Mallorca.

This route follows the famous ma-10 road which goes right through the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana.

Starting in the beautiful Port de Pollença and continuing up the Coll de Femenia, past Lluc and the turn off to Sa Calobra, up the easy side of Puig Major before dropping down into Soller, 14 km @ 6.2% average gradient, 828m of elevation lost. 

Continuing on the famous ma-10 along the coast past Valldemossa and through Deia, Banyalbufar and Estellencs before going through Andratx to Port dAndratx to complete an amazing coast to coast.

Port de Pollenca to Port d’Andratx inc. Port Valldemossa & Port des Canonge

141km with 3390m of climbing

If you are only ever going to ride one more route in your life, this would probably be it. 

Up the Coll de Femenia, past Lluc and the OJ shack at the turn off to Sa Calobra. Up the easy side of Puig Major then a 14km descent into Sóller.

Along the beautiful coast with its inviting villages then drop down the winding road to Port des Canonge, make your way back up this great little climb and end with the beautiful south west coastal section after descending then ascending the mad mini Sa Calobra road of Port Valldemossa. I think you will finish breathless in more ways than one!
