The Andratx to Port Pollensa route is a popular choice for cyclists visiting Mallorca. With its combination of coastal views, mountain climbs, and picturesque villages, it’s essential to know the best spots to stop for coffee and refuel along the way. Here’s our ultimate guide to the best café stops along this beautiful 115 km cycling route.

1. Es Grau (13 km)

About 13 km into the ride, you’ll reach Es Grau, known for its spectacular balcony that overlooks the cliff face, offering stunning views of the coastline. It’s a great place to stop for a coffee if you have the time.

2. Estellencs (17 km)

Cafetería Estellencs

A basic but charming spot for a coffee, this café is located on the MA-10, just as you enter the village of Estellencs. It’s a perfect place to take a break and recharge.

3. Banyalbufar (24 km)

Son Tomás

This café offers a good range of options, excellent service, and spectacular views. Located on the MA-10, it’s a great stop as you enter the village of Banyalbufar.

Bellavista

Another solid choice in Banyalbufar, Bellavista offers a variety of dishes and beverages, with amazing views from its cliffside location. The downside? You’ll need to leave someone outside to watch the bikes! Located halfway through the village on the MA-10.

4. Valldemossa (39 km)

In Valldemossa, there are several good cafés and restaurants, all close to the road. These places mostly cater to tourists, but are still great for a cyclist’s break.
Don’t miss Panadería Pastelería Ca’n Molinas, which is famous for its Cocas de Patatas (a type of pastry) that are perfect for dipping in hot chocolate.

5. Deiá (48 km)

Deiá is home to several excellent cafés and restaurants. It’s hard to choose just one, but be sure to stop at the Reynés bakery in the supermarket for a cake—run by two former pro cyclists, Marc and Vincent Reynés. They also have a bike shop across the road in Deiá and a café in Port de Sóller.

 

6. Sóller (58 km)

Sa Frontera

Located before you cross onto the MA-11 from the MA-10, Sa Frontera offers a good range of food and drinks, as well as a menu of the day. It’s an ideal stop before you face the longest climb on the island.

7. Port Sóller

Adding an extra couple of kilometers to your route, Port Sóller offers a wide selection of restaurants along the beachfront. From budget-friendly to more upscale, there’s something for every taste. 8. Top of Sa Calobra (80 km)

OJ Shack Under the Aqueduct

Located on the corner of the MA-10 and the turnoff to Sa Calobra, the OJ Shack is a no-frills stop offering energy bars to eat on the bike and freshly squeezed orange juice. It’s a great quick stop for some hydration before the next section of your ride.

9. Lluc (89 km)

Repsol Garage / Col de Sa Bataia Café

At the top of Col de Sa Bataia, this Repsol Garage and café offer a good range of snacks, drinks, and a great place to relax. If you need something quick, head to the garage, or take your time at the café. It’s located at the junction of MA-10 and the road up from Caimari.

Lluc Monastery

The Lluc Monastery is well-known for catering to cyclists, offering a good selection of coffee and food. It’s an ideal place to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

10. Pollença / Port de Pollença / Alcudia / Can Picafort (110-115 km)

Finally, as you approach the end of your route, you’ll find plenty of great spots to enjoy a refreshing drink and relax after a fantastic day on the bike. Whether you’re stopping in Pollença, Port de Pollença, or nearby Alcudia, there’s a huge choice of places to recover.
