No Mallorca cycling trip is complete without riding the island’s best routes.
We take you to the start of them, bus out bike back.
- Which cycling route will be the Queen Stage of your Mallorca adventure?”
Which route should be the big, unforgettable ride on your trip to cycling paradise?
Which one will be the highlight of your visit?
Which one will create the memories that last?
One route stands out above the rest.
It’s without a doubt the best cycling route in Mallorca, and it’s the one that deserves to be your Queen Stage. We’re talking about the epic ride through the UNESCO World Heritage Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, from Andratx to Port de Pollença.
For those staying in the north of the island, we offer scheduled bike buses to the start in Andratx.
For those staying in the south, we offer scheduled bike buses to the start in Port de Pollença.
Check out the bike bus schedules and departure towns here.
All transport must be booked in advance.
Pick your route and then bus out, bike back! Choose from a return distance ranging from 115km on the Vanilla Route (2400m of climbing) to the 162km Big Daddy Challenge (4300m of climbing). Whichever you choose, get ready for an epic day on the bike!
Want to add some adventure?
- Add Port des Canonge for an extra 10km and 320m of climbing.
- Add Port de Valldemossa for an additional 10km with 310m of climbing.
- Add Port Sa Calobra for 25km more and 800m of climbing.
- Or tackle them all for the Big Daddy Challenge to the north, or to the south with 8 classified cols and 162km/4300m of climbing.
- Or go for the Orient Valley route, 142km with 2600m of climbing, featuring the Col de Soller, Col d’Honor, and Col d’Orient.
Whatever you choose, it’s going to be a ride to remember!
When should you do your Mallorca Queen Stage?
We recommend tackling it earlier rather than later in your stay. Even though Mallorca enjoys 308 sunny days a year, if the weather doesn’t cooperate on your chosen day, you’ll still have a backup day to make sure you don’t miss out.
In spring and autumn, our scheduled bike buses run daily. This service is very popular, so we suggest booking as soon as you’ve got your flight confirmed.
Where to stop along the way
You’ll find charming towns with a variety of cafes and restaurants every hour or so. Some of the most popular spots to stop and refuel include Estellencs, Banyalbufar, Deià, Sóller, and Port Sóller.
If your bike or body breaks down in Mallorca, policyholders are quickly taken to their choice of:
- A local bike shop for repairs,
- Back to their accommodation, or
- To the shop where they hired their bike.
Our service is simple, effective, and available island-wide.
Helping you have the best cycling experience in Mallorca.
